"Eco-friendly" doesn't mean we've compromised on quality & comfort. The barn’s interior has been designed to effortlessly blend traditional and contemporary lines that result in a sumptuous and relaxing mood.
The barn can accommodate 8 persons in one King, one double, one single with pull out truckle and a gallery sleeping area with a double bed. A cot is available on request. The main living, dining & kitchen area has an airy open plan design leading out onto the balcony, ideal for a barbeque or peaceful chill-out.
Choose between a relaxing sunken bath in the main bathroom or the shower in the wet room - ideal after a muddy time outdoors.
The barn is off-grid, so no mains electricity means fewer distractions from the outside world, allowing you to fully wind down. We have provided numerous board games, books, a wind-up radio and spectacular scenery.

First Zero Carbon Dwelling in Wales?
The first zero carbon dwelling in wales.
Following a period of post occupancy energy monitoring initial calculations have indicated that Beudy Banc barn near Machynlleth in Mid Wales can claim to be the first zero carbon dwelling in Wales and the first zero carbon conversion in the UK.
The recently converted barn lies in a stunning location at the heart of the Dyfi valley and achieves it's zero carbon status by the use of super insulation, passive solar design, wood fuelled heating and photovoltaic panels to provide all the electricity used at the barn.
The architects and project managers George @ Tomos explained that the project demonstrates how the ambitious targets and aspirations set by welsh assembly government can be reached.
The project has made use of the wealth of knowledge and expertise available in the Dyfi Valley area in renewable technologies and construction. The recent installation of a wind turbine means that continuous, clean, renewable power is available throughout the year.
